One of the best babi guling place in Canggu. Not as touristy as the one across it, cheaper (35k for mixed rice), and definitely not as spicy. The taste matched my preference. Would recommend this to anyone.
Service was ok, bigul was ok, price is cheap when compared to some other bigul. Their soup was very very good.
In my opinion, this is one of the best bigul in the Canggu - Tanah Lot area. It is more popular with locals than tourists, and the price is very reasonable, around 35-40K per person. The bigul is similar to Pak Malen's, but with fewer condiments, crispier pork skin, and a spicier sambal. The soup is served with ares. The restaurant is quite spacious and can accommodate more than 50 people. In my opinion, it was better a few years ago than it is now, in terms of portion size and price, but it is still one of the best in the area and tastier than Men L***.
I'm from India and stopped here to try pork as I saw it on the image on my way and was really impressed by the taste. I'm used to Balinese food for about a week in 5 or 4 star hotels but this local restaurant was really good to actually taste the Balinese food.
